Copper Braided flexible are made from weaving together strands of copper wire. Our standard sizes of Copper wire are 36, 37 & 38 SWG (i.e. 0.193, 0.173, 0.152 mm dia) although other sizes are also available on request. The ends are crimped in cable lugs and can then be processed into individual connectors according to specific customer demands. Depending on the design, a differentiation is made between flat and round braids. While flat braids can also be used in tight spaces, round braided connectors have the advantage that they are flexible in all directions and can absorb powerful external forces.
The current requirement determines the cross section area of the Braid also the wire surface can be untreated or given a tin coating.
