Copper Flexible (also known as Expansion connectors or laminated Jumpers) comprises thin layers of copper (0.1 to 0.8 mm thk) that are layered on top of one another with ends solidified. We manufacture copper flexible by using Electro-solidification process in which the ends of bunched copper foils are fused under high pressure & current to form a homogenous solid bond, which has a constant cross section over whole length. Thus offering excellent Flexible connection joints with smooth current flow. We also offer a special wrap-around type flexible as per its end application. Electrolytic copper (Cu-ETP) is used, or alternatively oxygen-free copper (Cu-OF) where needed. Depending on the customer requirements, the surface is left untreated or given Tin, Silver or Nickel Plating.
The flexibility of the expansion connectors has proven beneficial in all applications where the conductor is subjected to powerful external forces – such as switching surges, oscillations or vibrations – or where a rigid connection is not possible on devices and machines.
